George Takei Celebrity Apprentice

While the Celebrity Apprentice might not normally be a show that we would cover here at Comicbook.com, the upcoming season is special because it features two celebrities of interest to comic book fans. Both Lou Ferrigno and George Takei will be among the eighteen cast members on what is being billed as the toughest season yet. Lou Ferrigno is best known for playing Hulk on the popular seventies and eighties TV show The Incredible Hulk. Ferrigno is also the voice of the Hulk in Marvel Studios films that include the character. George Takei is best known for playing Mr. Sulu on the popular sixties TV show Star Trek. In his intro video for the show, Ferrigno made a point of saying, "Whatever it takes to win, I'm willing to do. As long as I'm not naked. I don't want to be naked." However, in a recent clip to promote the upcoming season of Celebrity Apprentice, it shows that Ferrigno will at least be getting partially naked. During some type of cooking challenge, Ferrigno takes his shirt off, which winds up catching the attention of one of his fellow castmates. George Takei says, "I don't know how old Lou is now, but what a treat. It was impressive. If I were that shape I would be taking my shirt off all the time." The Celebrity Apprentice premieres on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 9 PM ET on NBC.
