New Men In Black 3 Trailer

With all the focus on The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, and The Amazing Spider-Man 3, many might have forgotten there is another big budget comic book movie scheduled to be released in the summer of 2012. Of course, Men In Black 3 hasn't been really marketed as a comic book movie, so many probably don't realize it was based on a comic book series from Aircel Comics (later acquired by Malibu Comics which was eventually purchased by Marvel Comics). Since Men In Black doesn't feature any superheroes, the film is usually thought of as being in the science fiction comedy genre. The first Men In Black was a huge hit back in 1997, but it's been a decade since the Men In Black sequel. Both films were commercial successes at the box office, but the second film didn't do well with critics. It's likely that for many kids their familiarity with the Men In Black franchise is limited to the Men In Black Alien Attack ride at Universal Studios theme park. With Men In Black 3 scheduled to be released on May 25, Sony/Columbia Pictures has started boosting up their marketing for the film. One Men In Black 3 trailer has already been released, which revealed there will be a heavy time travel element to this third film in the franchise. While the first trailer showed that Josh Brolin will play a younger version of Tommy Lee Jones character, Will Smith also recently hinted in a Yahoo interview that there might also be a younger version of his character in the film.  It has also just been announced that a brand new Men In Black 3 trailer will premiere on Yahoo Movies on Monday, March 5 at 12 PM ET.
