Do you know why May is a great month? Not only do we get an awesome comic book movie like The Avengers, but we also get not one but two issues of The Walking Dead. It definitely helps to keep us satisfied until the third season of The Walking Dead returns to AMC in October.
Speaking of the The Walking Dead Season Three, Robert Kirkman recently gave fans a hint of what to expect. Kirkman promises, “This season is absolutely going to blow people away.”
Last month we brought you a sneak preview of issue #96 of The Walking Dead comic book. This month, Image Comics has sent us a six page preview of The Walking Dead #97. We must say that this is one of our favorite covers ever for The Walking Dead. We just have a fondness for bloody chainsaws.
The Walking Dead #97 is the start of a new storyline called “Something To Fear.” The Walking Dead is written by Robert Kirkman with art by Charlie Adlard and Cliff Rathburn. Here is Image Comics description of the issue, “The start of a new storyline, leading up to our monumental issue 100! After nearly 100 issues, Rick and the other survivors finally have SOMETHING TO FEAR.”
The Walking Dead #97 is scheduled to arrive in comic book stores on Wednesday, May 9, 2012.
