While Batman fans might have to wait until July 20 for The Dark Knight Rises to be released in theaters, there will be an opportunity to see two vehicles from the film earlier than the movie release date. Warner Bros. has announced that The Tumbler and the Bat-Pod will be going on a coast-to-coast tour, which being sponsored by Mountain Dew and IMAX.
Of course, the Tumbler first appeared in Batman Begins, while the Bat-Pod was introduced in The Dark Knight. According to Warner Bros, both vehicles will be featured in different ways in The Dark Knight Rises, which is the conclusion of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy.
Warner Bros. released the following list of appearances by the Tumbler and the Bat-Pod in cities and towns across North America.
