Twenty or more trailers are set up at Epic Games in Cary, NC, for what appears to be a pretty substantial two-day shoot for the cast and crew of Marvel’s upcoming film, Iron Man 3. With tight security, it’s hard to get much of a bearing for what’s going on over there, but ComicBook.com managed to get a couple of long-distance shots of the active set.
The offices aren’t huge, but look very much like what you might expect out of a satellite office for Stark Industries or maybe corporate offices controlled by one of its competitors or even a front for organized crime. What they’re shooting there is anyone’s guess, but we’ve got a few photos from on the scene and will circle back around later in the day to see if anything has changed.
Epic Games was founded in 1991 and is responsible for the Unreal Tournament/Unreal Engine series of games, as well as the Gears of War franchise. Iron Man 3 stars Robert Downey, Jr., Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce and Gwyneth Paltrow and will be released to theaters in May 2013.
