The Dark Knight Rises Car Wins: Earnhardt Jr. Thanks Batman

Entering the Quicken Loans 400 at the Michigan International Speedway, Dale Earnhardt Jr. was on a 143 race winless streak, but it turned out all he needed was a little help from Batman. In Michigan, Dale Earnhardt Jr. raced his 88 car with a Dark Knight Rises inspired design for the first time, and the Dark Knight rose for Earnhardt Jr. For the first time in four years, Dale Earnhardt Jr. claimed a win in a Nascar Sprint Cup race. After the race, Earnhardt Jr. thanked Batman. Earnhardt Jr. said, "That was a great race. I want to thank my sponsors; National Guard, Diet Mountain Dew. It was great to have Batman on the car today. We just had a really good car. Our Chevrolet was really fast. It's pretty amazing. Those last 15 laps were the longest laps ever. I don't know what to think about it just yet."
