A new TV spot for The Dark Knight Rises focuses on Selina Kyle and her relationship with Bruce Wayne/Batman.
The role seems to lean a lot on Hathaway, whose stock-in-trade is bringing a light-hearted likability and killer comic timing to roles that also require a lot of sexuality. It’s something that most actors don’t perfect at such a young age, and it makes her someone to keep your eyes on in this film, especially since it seems as though she’ll be the through line that connects various different aspects of the plot; what do Batman, Bane, the police and Bruce Wayne all have in common? This girl!
