The highly anticipated third season of The Walking Dead finally has an official premiere date. It was just revealed during The Walking Dead panel at San Diego that The Walking Dead Season 3 premiere will take place on Sunday, October 14 at 9 PM ET on AMC.
Attendees at the Comic-Con Walking Dead panel were also treated to an extended trailer from The Walking Dead Season 3. We will also be posting a full review of the news from The Walking Dead Comic-Con panel.
The third season of The Walking Dead will include Michonne, who first appeared in the season two finale, and the Governor, who will be making his first appearance on the upcoming season. Both Michonne and the Governer are two of the most popular characters from The Walking Dead comic books.
