It was a big day to say the least for Marvel Studios. At one of the most highly anticipated panels of Comic-Con, Marvel Studios delivered a flurry of blockbuster news. As we earlier reported, Marvel announced the two new films Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant-Man. Guardians of the Galaxy has a release date of August 1, 2014, but Ant-Man’s release date was not revealed. However, Ant-Man does have Edgar Wright attached as the director.
Also, Marvel Studios didn’t forget about the films that had already been announced. Marvel Studios revealed official titles for the Thor and Captain America sequels. Thor 2 will be called Thor: The Dark World and is set to be released in theaters on November 8, 2013. Captain America 2 will be called Captain America: The Winter Soldier and is set to be released in theaters on April 4, 2014.
The majority of the panel focused on Iron Man 3, which will be released May 3, 2013. After the panel, Marvel released official logos for all five of their announced films, which we have included in this article.
