Remember back when the first full trailer for Lionsgate’s upcoming Dredd 3D hit, and a lot of people (this writer included) thought that maybe the slow-motion was too arty and self-indulgent a filmmaking choice?

Well, after having seen Dredd, my mind was changed–and for those of you still on the fence, I urge you to check out this clip from the film–which is VERY MUCH R-RATED AND PROBABLY NOT SAFE FOR WORK.

In any event, Check out a minute from Dredd 3D that shows you how the Slo-Mo drug and its accompanying slow motion effects are used in the film, and then chime in at bottom to let us know if you still think that dude who lost half his face is too arty.
