Captain America The Winter Soldier Freezerburn

Marvel Studios certainly comes up with some interesting working titles for their movies. As reported earlier by Comicbook.com, Iron Man 3 was filmed initially under the code name Caged Heat, which was later changed to just Caged. No one ever figured out exactly what the working title was supposed to signify. There was a lot of speculation that it could refer to Luke Cage, but there has been zero indication at all from the Iron Man 3 production that Power Man will make any sort of appearance in Iron Man 3. Now, the working title for Captain America: The Winter Soldier has been revealed to be Freezerburn. In a casting post on FeatureFilmCasting.com, it is revealed that Captain America: The Winter Soldier will start shooting on March 1, 2013. Filming locations will include Los Angeles, Cleveland and Washington, D.C. Also, noted is that Captain America: The First Avenger had the working title Frostbite and that Captain America: The Winter Soldier will have the working title Freezerburn. While there is a Marvel Comics villain named Freezer Burn, it's very doubtful that the working title has anything at all to do with the villain (but we've included an image of him just for fun). Unlike the Iron Man 3 working title which still has people scratching their heads, the Captain America: The Winter Soldier working title appears to be just a clever play on how Captain America was frozen for many years after the war. It's been widely reported that at least one theme in Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be Steve Rogers adjusting to the modern day world, which would fit with the Freezerburn working title. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 4, 2014.
