Luke Skywalker middle-aged

While there has been lots of speculation about what the storyline will be for Star Wars Episode 7, a George Lucas biographer thinks he knows the answer. In an interview with TheWrap, Dale Pollock, who is the author of the unauthorized Lucas biography, "Skywalking: The Life And Films Of George Lucas," claims he has read 12 story outlines for Star Wars films. Pollock also claims he had to sign a confidentiality agreement, but he revealed some details to TheWrap anyway. Pollock said, "It was originally a 12-part saga. The three most exciting stories were 7, 8 and 9. They had propulsive action, really interesting new worlds, new characters. I remember thinking, 'I want to see these 3 movies.'" Pollock also indicated that the upcoming episodes would involve a Luke Skywalker in his 30s and 40s. If this information is accurate, then it would seem to rule Mark Hamill out for the role, since he is now in his sixties. Pollock also didn't think Lucas would use Mark Hamill, but he gave the reason as that the director was dissatisfied with Hamill's performance in the other Star Wars films.
