The Dark Knight Rises Joseph Gordon Levitt

While Joseph Gordon-Levitt at first acted like there was no future for him as Batman after The Dark Knight Rises, he eventually said he was open to the idea of the possibility of appearing in a Justice League movie. Now, HitFix is reporting that their sources are telling them that Joseph Gordon-Levitt will absolutely play Batman in a Justice League movie. This news comes on the heels of Man of Steel director Zack Snyder hinting that Man of Steel would have some connection to a Justice League movie. With Henry Cavill signed on for three movies with Warner Bros., it's a pretty good bet that he's a lock to play Superman in Justice League. Even more interesting is that Hitfix is reporting that Warner Bros. is also negotiating with at least one other actor from Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy to do something in a Justice League movie. Which other actor would fit in a Justice League movie? Christian Bale could probably be ruled out since Joseph Gordon-Levitt would be filling his Batman role. Plus, Christian Bale seemed really serious about hanging up the cape and cowl for good. Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon could be a possibility, but a villain might make sense as well. Anne Hathaway won rave reviews for her performance as Catwoman, so there's always the possibility that Warner Bros. could be looking at her to form an Injustice League with other villains. Of course, she looked pretty happy with Bruce Wayne at the end of The Dark Knight Rises, so there would have to be some reason given for her turning back to crime.
