It’s hard to believe that Iron Man 3 is only a little over five months away. In the meantime, Marvel Studios continues to release new Iron Man 3 photos to help fans manage the wait. Unfortunately, the four new photos are just stills from the previously released Iron Man 3 trailer, but they do give an up-close look at some key scenes.
The first photo is of the Iron Patriot. While this was already spotted in the trailer, the Iron Patriot photo gives a clear look of the Lt. Col. James Rhodes name printed on the front of the Iron Patriot armor.
The second photo is of Rebecca Hall, who is reportedly playing Dr. Maya Hansen. So far this is the only glimpse we’ve seen of her character in Iron Man 3.
The third photo is of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, standing in front of the Hall of Armor. He seems to be concerned about something.
The fourth photo is of a cracked Iron Man helmet. It kind of brings back memories of the cracked Batman mask that was featured in The Dark Knight Rises promotional campaign. Iron Man 3 is set to be released in theaters on May 3, 2013.
