Talking on RTE Television, Sheen said, "They've called me back, I don't know what the part is going to be, but I'm going to be 'Uncle Ben' once again in Spider-Man next year. We shoot it in February."
Of course, director Marc Webb revealed on the commentary track for The Amazing Spider-Man Blu-ray and DVD that Sheen had enjoyed the character and wanted to come back.
Sheen's son, comedian Charlie Sheen, also recently revealed that he once tried to get a Spider-Man movie off the ground with himself in the starring role.
The footage of Sheen discussing The Amazing Spider-Man on The Late Late Show isn't online yet, but below you'll find a moment during the Sheen interview when an audience member stares strangely into the camera; a handful of fans had reposted the video as "the creepiest audience member ever," and in response, RTE actually posted the moment separately themselves.
