For the 2013 People’s Choice Awards, nominees in the Favorite Movie Actor category included Channing Tatum, Johnny Depp, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Robert Downey, Jr., and Will Smith.
The winner for the 2013 People’s Choice Award for Favorite Movie Actor was Robert Downey Jr. In accepting the People’s Choice Award, Robert Downey Jr. said, “You’ve chosen wisely.”
After complimenting Naomi Watts, Robert Downey Jr. said, “I”m going to keep it simple. I’m going to send you love, and then I’m going to receive love.” Robert Downey Jr. also paid tribute to one of his fans, an eighty-three year old woman named Joyce Schroder, who passed away a few days ago.
