Super Bowl XLVII is set to air on Sunday, February 3, which is the week before The Walking Dead is set to return on AMC. Even though The Walking Dead has been setting record ratings all season long, AMC looks to push the ratings even higher with a Super Bowl ad. This year's Super Bowl ads run $4 million plus for a 30 second time slot, so it's a pricey promotion for the network. While details on The Walking Dead Super Bowl ad have not been revealed, actor Norman Reedus has been teasing the ad via twitter. Reedus, who plays Darryl Dixon, has shared photos from set, which show plenty of dead zombies. The zombies appear to have been killed by arrows, so Daryl must be playing a big role in the commercial.
