In addition to Guardians of the Galaxy, Marvel Studios has also announced today that Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be released in 3D. Captain America: The First Avenger was also released in 3D, as it was converted to 3D post-production.
In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, “Steve Rogers continues his journey as the super-powered American soldier who’s grasping to find his place in a modern world after being frozen in ice since WWII.”
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is being directed by Community director/producers Joe and Anthony Russo, and the film is set to be released in theaters on April 4, 2014. Chris Evans will be returning to star as Captain America, and Anthony Mackie will be joining him as The Falcon.
