Badges for Comic-Con International 2013 will go on sale February 16, 2013 at 9:00 AM Pacific Time (PT), according to an e-mail sent out early this morning by the convention organizers.
“Do you have the persistence of Superman? The patience of a Watcher? The ingenuity of Tony Stark? The determination of Batman?” The e-mail asks. “If so, then you are ready for Comic-Con International 2013 Open Online Registration! Badge sales will begin at 9:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) on Saturday February 16, 2013. Tickets range from $175 for the full four days, plus preview night, to $24 for just Sunday. The event takes place July 18-21 at the San Diego Convention Center, with The Walking Dead Escape taking place across the street at Petco Park. As we did last year, ComicBook.com will have a number of reporters and photographers on site.
The link to EPIC Open Online Registration will be sent to eligible participants with a valid and confirmed Comic-Con Member ID via email 48 hours prior to the start of badge sales. Users who receive this e-mail may click the link, or copy-and-paste it into their browser. Comic-Con will not post this link on their website, Facebook, or Twitter, although media outlets routinely post it once it’s available.
