Star Trek Into Darkness Extended Super Bowl Trailer

Paramount released a Star Trek Into Darkness app in conjunction with the new Star Trek Into Darkness commercial that will be airing during the second quarter of Super Bowl XLVII. The Star Trek Into Darkness app has been available for a couple days now, but Paramount has been teasing exclusive bonus content. Now, Comicbook.com can reveal that the first bonus content to be made available through the application will be an extended version of the Star Trek Into Darkness Super Bowl trailer.Viewers will need to scan the Star Trek Into Darkness TV spot during the second quarter of the Super Bowl in order to unlock the extended version on the app. Star Trek Into Darkness is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 17, 2013.
