Gale Anne Hurd, one of the producers on AMC's The Walking Dead and widely credited as the person who brought the fan-favorite comic book series to the small screen, was grilled recently about the prospects of TV's top-rated drama making its way into theaters. Besides, the PaleyFest presentation that will be coming in March, though, Hurd said that it's simply not something the producers are able to dedicate a lot of thought to with a fourth season of the record-breaking cable series on the horizon. Saying that the film wasn't on the table at the moment, Hurd told Deadline, "Right. I mean, there's an Entourage movie coming up, right? That's what I keep reading. Right now, seriously, we're focused on Season 4. If there was a movie, there are so many decisions that would need to go into it. The availability of the cast and all of that." Hurd also said that while they're not yet clear on the exact air date for season four to begin, it'll likely continue to debut in October, as it always has. Pressed whether the date might be confirmed at San Diego Comic Con International, as it was in 2012, Hurd deferred. "I don't know yet if we'll be at Comic-Con," she said. "We don't even begin those discussions for a couple of months. It's contingent on a lot of things. It's my favorite thing to do.  I love Comic-Con so I'll be there even if the show isn't. I'm a geek anyway. And I love New York Comic-Con too and we try to be there as well. But part of it depends on what slot we get and if we have to shut down production. And that's out of our hands."
