Badges for Comic Con International 2013 went on sale this morning at 9 AM Pacific Time. Almost immediately, there were reports on Twitter and Facebook from people who were getting messages that the waiting room to buy tickets was full.
While one Facebook poster received the waiting room is full and it’s unlikely that badges are still available message within six minutes, others are reporting that they were getting the message even in less than one minute.
At 9:55 AM Pacific Time, Comic Con tweeted that all four day badges to San Diego Comic Con were sold out.
In 2012, Comic Con International badges sold out within an hour. 2013 marks the 44th year for Comic Con, making it the country’s longest continuously-run comics and popular art convention.
