Vin Diesel Teases Gritty xXx

With  Fast And Furious 6 set to hit movie theaters on May 24, 2013, what other projects will Vin Diesel soon start working on? On his Facebook page earlier today, Vin Diesel teased, "I read a treatment over the weekend to a new gritty XXX, that was sent by my friend Joe Roth... WOW! P.s. Why is it that when ever you all start with your digital art forecasting... something practical in Hollywood follows. Haha." Could things finally be moving forward with xXx: The Return of Xander Cage? The film from producer Joe Roth was announced some time ago, but it doesn't currently have a release date. Last we heard, John D. Brancato and Michael Ferris had been hired to write the screenplay, so we're assuming they might be responsible for the gritty treatment that Vin Diesel is referring to.
