A new Man Of Steel prop auction is offering a look at some items from the Man of Steel set. There doesn’t appear to be anything too spoilery here, but there are some possible Easter Eggs.
In total, there are currently eight Man Of Steel prop items up for sale on iCollector. Several of the items come from Lois Lane’s apartment. One of the items is described as “a screen used picture in a special picture frame scene in Lois Lane’s apartment. It is of a young Amy Adams (who plays Lois Lane).”
Other items from Lois Lane’s apartment include a large metal boat ornament and a beautiful crystal ornament. The auction notes that the crystal ornament is an obvious nod to Superman’s home.
In addition to the Lois Lane apartment items, there is a Henry Cavill worn grey shirt, an Amy Adams worn tank top, two Daily Planet newsroom signs, and a Toomey Waste Collection sign. The Toomey Waste Collection sign is said to be from the Smallville set. Bob Toomey was a writer on some Superman family stories in the seventies. Not sure if the sign could be an Easter Egg nod to him or just a coincidence.
