Comic Book Men Stash-Teroids

In the Stash-Teroids episode of Comic Book Men, Walt says that he sometimes feels self-conscious telling people that he works at a comic book store. Mike chimes in that at least Walt gets to tell people that he manages a comic book store, while he has to tell people he works under another guy at a comic book store. A customer named Vince brings in an original Asteroids arcade cabinet that he wants to sell for $1100. While Walt thinks that is too much to pay for it, Bryan argues that it's a piece of nostalgia. As Walt and Vince are negotiating, another customer comes over and says he's interested in the game. Vince and the customer negotiate a price of $800, and the Stash gets a 5% commission on the sale, since it occurred inside the store. A customer brings in some Spider-Man comics that he wants to sell. One of issues is Amazing Spider-Man #101, which introduces the Living Vampire. In a little trivia lesson, Walt reveals that the Vampire had to be the Living Vampire, because the Comics Code at the time prevented using the undead in stories. Another Amazing Spider-Man comic in the collection was an autographed 9/11 commemorative issue. Walt agrees to purchase some of the Spider-Man comics for $450. A customer brings in some G.I. Joe toys that he wants to sell. One of the items is a G.I. Joe Cobra Night Raven S3P from 1986, which inspires Ming to tell an emotional story of how he and his brother cried when they first saw that toy as kids. Walt agrees to buy the Night Raven for $100. A customer brings in several Star Wars ships including an Imperial Shuttle, Millennium Falcon, and Naboo Royal Starship that he wants to sell. The customer is hoping to make some money to fly in his girlfriend from England. In a sidebar conversation, Walt reveals that Kevin Smith proposed to his wife for him. The customer asks $750 for the ships, but Walt offers $250. After some negotiation, Walt agrees to buy the ships for $500.
