Lauren Cohan Talks The Walking Dead On Jimmy Kimmel Live

Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie Green on The Walking Dead, appeared tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Jimmy Kimmel brought up how it must be difficult for the actors that people are regularly getting killed off on the show. Lauren Cohan talked about the death dinners that they have for cast members that get killed off, but she explained that they have had to become more sneaky as the show has gotten more popular. Lauren Cohan said, "We have death dinners when somebody's dying, and it was fine at the beginning, like at the beginning of season two, because people weren't as savvy about the show, so you could go and have a group dinner and stuff." Cohan continued, "Now people know so we have to go and have pretend birthday dinners, so we have a really, really maudlin death dinner that's dressed up as a birthday party. And people are giving the most abstract goodbye speeches and like throwing a birthday in the here and there, and we bring out fake cakes with like 'happy birthday, goodbye you're dead."
