Amazing Spider-Man 2 Director Teases Black Suit

Showing that he knows how to give fans a good tease, Amazing Spider-Man director Marc Webb just tweeted, "Day 29. Black suit. pic.twitter.com/O0n8hNO322". Of course, after reading that tease millions of fans (or actually Marv Webb's 32,121 Twitter followers), probably let out a gasp that the director was confirming that Spider-Man's black suit or possible Venom would appear in Amazing Spider-Man 2. However, it turns out that wasn't the black suit that Marc Webb was talking about. The link in the tweet actually went to the picture we've posted above, which shows a man in a black suit at Oscorp. We're pretty sure the man is not Venom, but he does have a sinister look. Could it be Alistair Smythe? Well played, Marc Webb, well played. This isn't the first time that Marc Webb has given fans reason to believe that a black suit might show up in Amazing Spider-Man 2. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to be released at movie theaters in the United States on May 2, 2014.
