Metal Men Join The New 52 In Justice League #18

The Metal Men are a group of characters that have been missing from DC Comics since the New 52 reboot. The Metal Men were recently teased in Justice League #16, as a reference was made to Will Magnus and Project: Metal Men. The project was mentioned as being a failure that the military was in process of shutting down. However, it looks like despite the rumors of a shut down, the Metal Men will be officially joining the New 52 version of the DC Comics Universe in Justice League #18. DC Comics Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns has revealed the variant cover for Justice League #18, and it features the lone female member of the Metal Men. The cover is by artist Kenneth Rocafort. The cover text teases, "Meet Platinum...robotic hero...or threat to humanity." The Justice League #18 is scheduled to arrive in comic book stores on March 20, 2013.
