new Man of Steel trailer

After keeping quiet for several months, Warner Bros. has built up a huge level of anticipation for the next Man Of Steel theatrical trailer. While Comicbook.com reported last month that a new Man Of Steel trailer would be shown on April 16 as part of CinemaCon, we were unable to confirm if the footage would be released publicly on that date. While Warner Bros. started a viral campaign on Friday of last week, they have not made an official announcement as to when the new theatrical trailer will be released. In advance of the MTV Movie Awards, MTV listed Henry Cavill as a presenter, which led to much speculation that he would be premiering a new trailer at the awards show. However, it turned out that MTV had listed Henry Cavill in error, and he did not present or appear at the awards show. Instead of a full theatrical trailer, Warner Bros. released a 30 second teaser video online, which also aired during the MTV Movie Awards as a TV spot. In the video, General Zod issues a warning to Kal-El (Superman) that he had 24 hours to surrender, so many were expecting another viral video within 24 hours, but nothing new was released yesterday. Around the same time, Warner Bros. also launched a new viral website located at www.iwillfindhim.com, which features a countdown clock. Most seem to have decoded the countdown to expire at 8:15 PM ET on April 16, 2013. With that time matching up fairly well with when the Warner Bros. CinemaCon will be taking place, most are anticipating that the third theatrical trailer will be released online at that time. However, it's always possible that the countdown will result in another teaser video.
