Zack Snyder

According to a report on Screencrush, Gangster Squad director Ruben Fleischer has suggested that Zack Snyder will be directing the long-rumored Justice League movie. At one time Ruben Fleischer himself was rumored to be attached to Justice League, but he reportedly revealed that he's no longer in the running. Fleischer claimed that he was interested in directing a big superhero film in the future. However, in regards to directing Justice League, Fleischer said, "Well that's something that Zack Snyder is going to wind up doing." It's an interesting answer, because it could just be that he's speculating based on all the positive buzz around Man Of Steel. However, as Screencrush points out, Fleischer would definitely be in a position to know, as he worked with Justice League writer Will Beall on Gangster Squad. It would also seem unusual for Fleischer to be interested in a superhero movie but to disqualify himself from Justice League if he didn't know for sure he was out of the running. Another recent rumor suggested that Man Of Steel writer David S. Goyer might be both writing and directing a Justice League movie. However, it was also said that David S. Goyer might just be attached to Justice League as a writer. It would certainly make sense for Warner Bros. to try to pair David S. Goyer and Zack Snyder together again if Man Of Steel is as good as early buzz would suggest.
