Nashville’s longest running comic book convention returns this weekend with a brand new location and a wide range of guests. In addition to comic book writers and artists, the Nashville Comic & Horror Festival features a number of celebrities from television, animation, and wrestling.
Some of the featured guests include Dawn Wells (who played Mary Ann on Gilligan’s Island), Doug Jones (who played Abe Sapien in Hellboy), Jeremy Shada (who is the voice of Finn from Adventure Time), and wrestler Sgt. Slaughter. There will also be several zombies from AMC’s hit television series The Walking Dead appearing. Events at the convention include panel discussions, movie screenings, photo opportunities, costume contests and silent auctions.
The Nashville Comic & Horror Festival runs from Friday, May 10 through Sunday, May 12. The convention has also been moved from the fairgrounds to the Hotel Preston on Briley Parkway. For more information on visit www.comiccitytn.com.
