Robert Downey, Jr. Reteams With Iron Man Director for Chef

Get ready for a whole lot of "just call him the Iron Chef" jokes. Marvel Universe mainstay Robert Downey, Jr. signed on today to reteam with Jon Favreau, the director of Iron Man and Iron Man 2, in Chef, a film that Favreau wrote and will direct. The film is described as an ensamble comedy, also starring Sofia Vergara, John Leguizamo and Bobby Cannavale. Deadline reports that production begins in July on the film, based on an original idea from Favreau about a man who loses his job as a chef and starts a food truck to reclaim his artistic promise.
