The Dark Knight Two Face & The Joker

It's been over five years since Heath Ledger passed away, but his iconic performance as The Joker in The Dark Knight still holds a special place in the hearts of comic book movie fans. In a new interview with Larry King, Aaron Eckhart, who played Two-Face in The Dark Knight, remembers what it was like to work with Heath Ledger. Eckhart describes Ledger as being "fantastic" to work with. He also recounts the one scene that their characters had together in The Dark Knight. During the hospital room scene, Eckhart says, "Heath was always in character, so he would come around and be talking to himself in the corner." Eckhart says Ledger spent an hour walking around his hospital bed in character as The Joker, and the two actors organically developed the scene together. Even though Eckhart and Ledger never said a word to each other while shooting the scene, Ledger told Eckhart afterwards, "That's what acting is all about."
