6 Batman-Related Comics That Won't Come If Today's Death Sticks

Warning: Spoilers ahead for Justice League of America #4, on sale today.

Earlier today, ComicBook.com reported on the death of a member of the extended Batman Family in the pages of today's Justice League of America #4. The news is starting to make the rounds on comics news sites and message boards--understandably, since the character who seems to die has a fairly high profile, both in comics and other media. That's not the only thing that's a little baffling about this choice, though; besides being popular and well-known, the deceased also has a number of appearances slated over the next few months, none of which seem particularly suited to being a role played by a dead person or a fill-in hero. Check out some solicitation text below and let us know whether you think all of these could be explained away by "These events take place prior to Justice League of America #4," or whether you think there's more than meets the eye to today's issue. Side note: Some of these might not be immediately clear why they couldn't ship, or at least couldn't ship as solicited, if Catwoman's death sticks.
