Chin Han, Jenny Agutter, Alan Dale and Bernard White have been cast as the four members of his S.H.I.E.L.D. team led by Robert Redford's Alexander Pierce, according to Twitchfilm. If true (and we have no reason to believe it isn't), this may bolster rumors that elements of the "Nick Fury Vs. S.H.I.E.L.D." story from the comics are being pursued, and that the Captain America/Winter Soldier face-off might be part of a larger story involving internal strife at the intelligence organization. White had already been announced as a cast member in the film, although as what was not clear and his IMDb page simply says "Indian council member." Agutter appeared briefly in The Avengers as part of the World Security Council, whom Fury disobeyed in the film and with whom he likely has some strife even if his position in S.H.I.E.L.D. is secure. Dale is a TV veteran, with notable, recent runs on series like AMC's The Killing and CBS's NCIS. Han appeared in The Dark Knight as Lau, and appeared on the first season of Arrow as Frank Chen. He won't be returning in season two after having been killed by Merlyn the Dark Archer. Since all four these actors have shown a willingness to do episodic TV, one has to wonder whether their role in S.H.I.E.L.D. might be extended into Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. either before Captain America: The Winter Soldier is released, or afterwards should they survive coming to blows with Fury. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is shooting now and will be in theaters April 4, 2014.
