PERSON OF INTEREST

The first two seasons of the J.J. Abrams-produced Person of Interest are now available for digital download at a variety of sites, including iTunes and Amazon Instant Video. The series is a rarity: a broadcast network TV show that does not make its episodes available digitally throughout the season. CBS, who air the series, have a few such series and are often one of the last to adopt new exhibition venues (try looking for The Big Bang Theory or Two and a Half Men on Netflix, for instance--in spite of the fact that CBS's lack of a relationship with Hulu puts them in a great negotiationg position to make a deal with somebody else). "We are all excited that new and existing fans of Person of Interest can finally catch up with the first two seasons," said Person of Interest executive producer J.J. Abrams. Series creator/executive producer Jonathan Nolan and executive producer Greg Plageman said, "We're thrilled that a new audience will be able to catch up on the story so far — and then buckle up for our third season."
