At San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios premiered a trailer for Guardians Of The Galaxy that had been put together after only 12 days of filming. The trailer impressed fans so much that Guardians Of The Galaxy has become one of Marvel's most buzzed about movies. In early August, Guardians Of The Galaxy director James Gunn shared with fans how hectic things were with production. Gunn wrote, "I've shot every day for the past 12 days or so. Normally we do five day shooting weeks (although a lot of us have to do a lot of stuff on those off days), but our schedules have been a little different because of Comicon and I've been shooting with Second Unit as well." On Monday, September 2, 2013, Gunn shared another update on the filming status of Guardians Of The Galaxy. When asked how much of the movie he had already shot, James Gunn replied, "A little over half." Guardians Of The Galaxy is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on August 1, 2014.
