Superhero And Sci-Fi Movies Dominate StumbleUpon

What is popular with StumbleUpon users? The same thing that seems to be popular with the general population: superhero and sci-fi movies. According to recently released rankings from StumbleUpon, six of the ten most popular movies in 2013 among their more than 30 million users featured either superheroes or space. Here is the StumbleUpon Top 10 list. 1. Blackfish 2. 2 Guns 3. The LEGO Movie 4. Gravity 5. Iron Man 3 6. Captain America: The Winter Soldier 7. Ender's Game 8. The Bling Ring 9. Kick-Ass 2 10. Man of Steel While most of the movies on the list were actually released in 2013, The LEGO Movie and Captain America: The Winter Soldier have yet to be released, which shows there is high anticipation for these two upcoming 2014 releases. Iron Man 3, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Kick-Ass 2, and Man of Steel are the four superhero movies on the list, and Ender's Game and Gravity are the two sci-fi movies on the list. Interestingly enough, The LEGO Movie also includes some superheroes as well, and 2 Guns was based on a comic book. Blackfish and The Bling Ring are actually the only two movies on the list that aren't in some way either tied to comic books, superheroes, or science fiction.
