Benedict Cumberbatch As Sherlock Covers Entertainment Weekly

In advance of Sherlock's American premiere on January 19th, Entertainment Weekly has released the cover to their January 17th issue, featuring the ever popular Benedict Cumberbatch on the cover. The issue promises coverage from the set of the show, which is returning after a nearly two-year hiatus following the end of Season 2, in which Sherlock faked his death. Cumberbatch has kept busy in the intervening years, playing the role of Khan in "Star Trek: Into Darness," as well as providing the voice for the dragon Smaug in Peter Jackson's Hobbit films, where his Sherlock co-star, Martin Freeman, took on the lead role as Bilbo Baggins. Sherlock will premiere in the US as part of PBS's Masterpiece on Sunday, January 19 at 9:58 p.m. EST.
