Justice League Comics Coming To Cereal Boxes

DC Comics and General MIlls have teamed up to put collectible Justice League comics books inside select Big G cereals. The four comics, created exclusively for General Mills in conjunction with DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Consumer Products, can be found at grocery stores nationwide through April 2014, with a special fifth comic available only in boxes of Cheerios at Target. "There is a certain shared fanaticism among cereal lovers and comic book fans, which is why Big G cereals, WBCP and DCE make a super team," says Lisa Tomassen, integrated communication manager at General Mills. "We're excited for people young and old to discover these comic books in their favorite cereals, giving them a strong, confident start to the day." The specially marked cereal boxes also feature DC Comics Super Hero costume piece cutouts on the back. General Mills and DC encourage fans to don the costumes, strike their best superhero pose, and post their pictures to social media with the hashtag #SuperHeroing.
