Star Wars Episode VII

Disney and Lucasfilm have announced (via Variety) that Star Wars Episode VII will begin filming in May. The new Star Wars film will be directed by J.J. Abrams. The film is set 30 years after Return of the Jedi and will feature characters from the original Star Wars trilogy as well as several new characters. Adam Driver is in talks to play the film's villain, who has been described as being in the same vein as Darth Vader. Several actors are said to be vying for the film's lead role, rumored to be a Jedi apprentice, including Ed Speleers, John Boyega, Jesse Plemons, Matthew James Thomas and Ray Fisher. With filming set to begin in less than three months, fans can probably expect to hear some final casting decisions come out pretty soon. Star Wars Episode VII will come to theaters December 18, 2015.
