Captain America The Winter After The Credits SceneSpoiler Warning:

Captain America: The Winter Soldier contains not one but two post-credits scenes. With Captain America: The Winter Soldier debuting in the U.S. this weekend, we wanted to take a closer look at the two post-credits scenes. We've also provided an explanation for moviegoers about exactly who was featured and what was happening in the post-credits scenes. Mid-Credits Scene Description: In the Captain America: The Winter Solider mid-credits scene, Baron Von Strucker, as played by Thomas Kretschmann, is in his underground lair. Another man approaches Strucker and says, "It's over. Fury has released everything to the public." Strucker replies, "Everything he knows about." The other man adds, "Mr. Strucker, if they get word of our work here…if they find out that we serve Hydra…" Strucker interrupts, "Hydra, S.H.I.E.L.D., two sides of a coin that's not of a currency." As Strucker talks, he walks past numerous advance technology devices and workers at their computers. Finally, Strucker stops right in front of Loki's scepter. Strucker continues, "What we have is worth more than any of them ever knew. We've only scratched the surface and already…" Then, Strucker starts walking again. Strucker says, "There are other facilities doing Hydra's good work around the world. We'll feed them to Captain America and his colorful friends." The other man adds, "Keep them off our scent. What about the volunteers?" Strucker answers, "The dead will be buried so deep their ghosts won't be able to find them." The other man asks, "And the survivors?" Strucker smiles and responds, "The twins." Then, the camera pans to a man and a woman in two separate glass cells. The man is running around his cell at a high rate of speed and slamming into the walls. The woman is sitting on the ground and levitating objects with her mind. Strucker continues, "Sooner or later, they will meet the twins. It's not a world of spies anymore. It's not even a world of heroes. This is the age of miracles, doctor. There's nothing more horrifying than a miracle." The woman crushes one of the blocks she's levitating. Mid-Credits Scene Explanation: Baron von Strucker is a nemesis of Captain American and a leader of Hydra. He will be one of the villains featured in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The twins featured at the end are Pietro and Wanda Maximoff, better known as Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. They will also appear in Avengers: Age of Ultron. In the comic books, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are mutants and members of The Avengers. However, because Fox owns the rights to Marvel's mutant characters, they will not be referred to as mutants in Avengers: Age of Ultron and their origins will be altered. After The Credits Scene Description: In the Captain America: The Winter Soldier after the credits scene, a Captain America exhibit can be seen at the Smithsonian museum. The camera pans across display uniforms of Captain America and his friends. Then, the camera focuses on a plaque with information about James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes. As the camera pans out at the crowd, it focuses in on the man who is reading the plaque, who is none other than The Winter Soldier. After The Credits Scene Explanation: By visiting the Smithsonian, The Winter Soldier has just confirmed that he really is who Captain America told him that he was
