First Guardians Of The Galaxy Clip Released

Marvel Studios has just released the first clip from Guardians of the Galaxy as part of the MTV Movie Awards Takeover. The clip focuses on Star-Lord, as played by Chris Pratt. In the clip, Star-Lord attempts to steal a certain artifact known as the Orb. The scene has a very Raiders of the Lost Ark feel to it. Star-Lord's heist is interrupted by Korath, as played by Djimon Hounsou.Of course some of this footage was previously shown in the first trailer, but there is a new scene, where Star-Lord drops to the floor, puts on his helmet, and rockets away. Guardians of the Galaxy is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on August 1, 2014.
