The Walking Dead: Descent Cover Revealed

The cover for The Walking Dead: Descent, the first in a new four-novel series, has been revealed (via Entertainment Weekly). The Waking Dead: Descent will be another collaboration between Jay Bonansinga and The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, the same writing team behind the previous four Walking Dead novels. The new novel stars Lilly Caul, a character from the original Walking Dead comic book series, who made her way to Woodbury in the previous Walking Dead novel, The Road to Woodbury. Lady Caul will attempt to rebuild Woodbury following the Governor's assault on the prison. "I'm thrilled to be working with Jay Bonansinga on more novels," says Kirkman. "There is quite a bit of unexplored territory left in the Walking Dead universe and I think people are going to love what Jay brings to this world in this medium." The Walking Dead: Descent will be released on October 14, 2014.
