DC Entetainmnet has released a sneak preview of their next animated feature, Batman: Assault on Arkham.
Set in the same universe as the Batman Arkham video game series, two years prior to the original Batman: Arkham Asylum, Assault on Arkham follows the Suicide Squad as they break into Arkham Asylum on a mission to retrieve a list of potential Suicide Squad candidates from the Riddler.
In the sneak peak video, the creative team discusses all of things that make Assault on Arkham so interesting to work on: the Guy Ritchie heist film tone, the oppressive environment, the cast of characters and their voice actors, and the fact that the movie follows the villains, leaving Batman as the B-plot for change.
Batman: Assault on Arkham stars Kevin Conroy as Batman, Neil McDonough as Deadshot, Troy Baker as the Joker, Matthew Gray Gubler as the Riddler, Hynden Walch as Harley Quinn and CCH Pounder as Amanda Waller.
Batman: Assault on Arkham will be released this summer.
