Stan Lee Introduces Dex T-Rex

Stan Lee has announced Dex T-Rex, The Mischievous Dinosaur, the newest addition to the Stan Lee Kid's Universe imprint formed by POW! Entertainment and 1821 Media. The picture book comes from Katya Bowser and will be introduced at San Diego Comic-Con.

Dex T-Rex, The Mischievous Dinosaur is about a young dinosaur who wants to have fun but plays too rough, until he learns a lesson about the effects of his actions on others. Dex T-Rex joins the Stan Lee Kid's Universe line that already includes Monsters vs. Kittens, Once Upon A Time There Was A Pig, and Reggie The Veggie. The line hopes to encourage children to read through the use of picture books, graphic novels, mobile games and interactive books.

"I am excited to introduce young readers to Dex T-Rex, the latest lovable and relatable hero in our Kids Universe," said Lee. "My hope is that parents will appreciate the messages in the book while children will be so drawn to the colorful pages and fun storyline that they won't even realize that they are learning and building their imaginations as they follow along with Dex on his adventures."
