When news first broke than several members of the original Star Wars cast were returning for Star Wars Episode VII, most of the initial reports seemed to suggest that it was a one picture deal with the old cast turning over the reins to a new generation.
However, when the reliable Hollywood trade site Deadline reported the news of Harrison Ford's recent accident on the set of Star Wars Episode VII, the site stated, "Here's wishing him well, since he's booked for three Star Wars film."

Three Star Wars films? If Deadline is correct, then maybe, Star Wars Episode VII won't be the last fans see of Harrison Ford as Han Solo. While Disney has yet to officially announce the characters for their Star Wars solo movies, it's been widely rumored that Han Solo will be one of the characters featured.

While most of the rumors revolve around a Han Solo origin story featuring a younger actor in the role, there's always the possibility those rumors are wrong. Could Disney actually be planning a spinoff film centering around Harrison Ford as an older Han Solo? Or maybe a Han Solo film that spans several decades, which allows for Harrison Ford to also be included?

Assuming that Ford has signed on for three films and the solo film includes him in some form or fashion, it also means that Ford would likely also be back for Star Wars Episode VIII at least. Or if he's not in a solo film at all, Ford could be back for both Star Wars Episode VIII and IX. Could Disney be planning to include the original cast in the entire next trilogy of films?

Since their initial report, Deadline has edited their article to remove the part about Harrison Ford being booked for three Star Wars films, but we've included a screenshot of the original text below, which still appears in Google searches. Did Deadline just make an error in their report? Or did someone at Disney give them a call for revealing something they weren't supposed to? Considering that Deadline is usually very accurate on these type of reports, we're betting that it's probably the latter.
