Star Wars Episode VII Report: Carrie Fisher's Daughter to Play Young Princess Leia

According to the British tabloid the Daily Mail, Billie Lourd -- Carrie Fisher's daughter previously reported to have a role of some kind in Star Wars Episode VII -- will portray a young Princess Leia in flashback sequences in the film.

The Mail reports that Lourd, a relative unknown, was cast becuase of her physical similarities to a young Carrie Fisher.

Fisher will reprise her role as Leia in the new film, currently being filmed at Pinewood Studios in southeast England. 

Three days ago, reports came out of news and rumor site Latino Review that Lourd had been cast in an undisclosed role.
