Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice's Gal Gadot Not Finished, Hasn't Filmed Any Wonder Woman Scenes

Yesterday, speculation made its way through the Internet that Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice star Gal Gadot may already have been finished with her filming as Wonder Woman because she had left the set and gone to her next film, Triple Nine with The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus and Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul.

According to USA Today, though, that isn't the case; Batman V Superman filmmaker Zack Snyder claims he still hasn't filmed any scenes with Wonder Woman yet, noting that Gadot continues to work out to get in shape as the Amazing Amazon.

Here's what Snyder had to say when quizzed on the Trinity of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman appearing onscreen together for the first time:

Snyder's only done a few scenes so far with Cavill and Affleck together, but the historical significance isn't lost on him, he says. "It's never really been done and it's kinda cool."

Similarly, Snyder also knows that putting the iconic superheroine Wonder Woman on a movie screen is a big deal, too. He says he hasn't filmed any scenes with Gadot as the Amazonian princess yet, but "she's working out and getting buff and ripped."

Word is, the character will get her own solo film announcement at Comic Con International: San Diego later this month. If true, it seems likely that between now and the date of that announcement, fans can expect to get their first look at Gadot as Wonder Woman. This morning, Snyder released the first image of Cavill as Superman in the new film, standing in what looks like it could be Gotham City.

The film is due out on May 6, 2016. It stars Gadot alongside Cavill and Ben Affleck as Batman.
