Marty Mcfly's Hoverboard, Keaton's Batsuit, & C-3PO's Hands To Be Auctioned Off

Comic-Con International feature a preview of an auction featuring $1.75 million worth of movie and television memorabilia.

Prop Store will have a display that includes a wide range of memorable props and costumes from the upcoming auction at the show from July 23 – July 27, and attendees will be able to hear the stories behind them through discussions with prop experts Stephen Lane, Brandon Alinger and Tim Lawes.

Marty McFly's hoverboard from Back to the Future: Part II, with an estimated auction price $25, is one of the highlights of the display. Con-goers will also see an original Batmobile model miniature used in Batman Forever estimated at $34,200, an original prop Golden Ticket from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory estimated at 25,700, Michael Keaton's battle-damaged bat suit from Batman estimated at $16,100, and C-3PO's hands from Star Wars estimated at $13,700.

The items will be offered for sale at Prop Store's live auction in London, October 16.

Also on display at the Prop Store display booth (#3845) will be a selection of assets from Pacific Rim. The Pacific Rim items display at Comic Con, along with several hundred others, will be available in an online Pacific Rim prop and costume sale in late August.
